What is this "Jelly"?

Jelly is an every-so-often casual coworking session. Anyone is welcome to come, bring a laptop, and work alongside other creative, fun people. Hope to see you there! See workatjelly.com and this blog post for more background. Email if you want to start your own!

Busboys and Poets (14th and U St., NW) -Wed May 21st, 10am-4pm or later

Please sign up for this with your EMAIL by the end of the week (5/18). If we have about 10 people who will show up, I will reserve a table there! It's a great spot for a Jelly event.

Possible Venues

  • College Perk in College Park MD- free WiFi, plenty of seating, and a staff that doesn't hassle you!
  • Cafe Mayorga in Columbia Heights - free WiFi, a nice balcony area with seating, good coffee, very near Metro, not overrun with people
  • Murky Coffee, Arlington Virginia - free WiFi, next to Metro, second floor size enough to fit about 30 ppl
  • SuiteSpace, Oakton, VA - WiFi of course, art studio setting, Starbucks next door if you need a fix.

  • Takoma Workspace - a coworking space with free WiFi and lots of parking near the metro in downtown Takoma Park, MD.
  • Olde Towne Gaithersburg - a crowdsourcing opportunity to develop a 'cool destination' in Olde Towne, Gaithersburg, with a $2-$5M investor.
  • St. Elmo's Coffee Pub - free wifi; nice cafe in the Del Rey neighborhood of Alexandria, VA; very good community feel.
  • Cameron Perks - free wifi; cozy cafe off of Duke St. in Alexandria 5 miles or so west of Old Town.
  • Caboose Cafe & Bakery - free wifi; good food; would be good for smaller group (4-6). In Del Rey neighborhood of Alexandria
